Monday
We’ve arrived! 🌟
After arriving safely, we met Mykl, our lead instructor for the week, before heading off to explore the huge field. Some of us enjoyed the swings, while others got stuck into the indoor games.
This afternoon, we played Eco Challenge, a fun version of tag where nobody is ever truly ‘it’! There was lots of running, teamwork and laughter.
Dinner was pasta with tomato sauce and focaccia bread, followed by even more time outdoors. Some of us also had the chance to visit the Sports Barn and take part in activities there.
The photos have now been updated, and we hope you’ve enjoyed following our adventures so far. We’ve had a fantastic first day and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Until tomorrow... 😊
Tuesday
Another fantastic day at Heatree, where the weather just about held off. Some of us have been rock scrambling and working as a team in Low Adventure, while others have been shooting arrows in Archery and mountain biking across the three tracks at Heatree. Pizza and wedges were served for tea, followed by a night walk. We are having a fantastic time and can't wait to share more of our adventures with you. See you tomorrow!
Wednesday
Lots of games today in our coloured teams with the green team victorious. Children started the day with a cooked breakfast before taking part in some problem-solving games. In the afternoon, it was time for 'Mission Impossible'. This started with orienteering before finishing with raft building. One or two may have fallen in/sunk! Toy Story 5 tonight with some popcorn. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
Thursday
Our penultimate day and it has been a variety of activities for all. Some groups started with rock scrambling, one mountain biking and the other archery. In the afternoon, half of the groups climbed in trees on the high ropes, whilst the others were wet from low adventure. Part of archery is the cutlery game, where you have to earn your cutlery for the evening. I won't spoil the surprise which cutlery your child had! In the evening, we had a fantastic disco, full of dancing, singing and competitions before heading to our room for the final time.
Friday
We will see you later! Lots of fun to be had this morning with archery, mountain biking and the high ropes. Hopefully, the weather holds off.
