Welcome to Sharks, Year 5 / 6
Class Teacher: Mr J Dolan
I have worked in education for almost thirty years, in schools across Devon and Somerset and also for the Local Authority here in Torbay. This is my second spell here and in total I have taught at Torre for almost eight years.
I am currently the Y5/6 teacher for Sharks and lead on history across the school. In previous roles I have been a Team Leader for Y6, Assistant Headteacher and a Mathematics Consultant lor the LA.
I absolutely love being a teacher here at Torre. My real passion is teaching mathematics and I always aim to instill a love of the subject in children, developing their natural curiosity and sense of achievement when they make a breakthrough in understanding something new.
Outside of school I have grown up twins, love watching The Exeter Chiefs and walking my labrador Lennie
