Torre Academy has been my second home for the past 12 years. Having started by teaching career in Year 5 after completing a PGCE at Exeter University (English Specialism), I have worked with all year groups within the school and I have enjoyed developing my own practice and supporting others over the years.

I am currently leading Middle School (YR3/4), leading across EYFS and teaching the very special Octopus Class. I am aspirational and I have very high expectations of myself and all of the children that I teach. In addition to this, I have recently completed my NPQSL a national qualification in senior leadership. Also, as the English Subject Leader at Torre, I work closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team to shape the teaching and learning of reading and writing across the school.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I have two beautiful children of my own, Sophie and Henry, who keep me very busy!
