Torre Academy has been my second home for the past 14 years and I am very proud to have contributed to the  development and success of the school. Having started by teaching career in Year 5 after completing a PGCE at Exeter University (English Specialism), I have worked with all year groups within the school and I have thoroughly enjoyed developing my own practice and supporting others over the years.

​Currently I am the Deputy Headteacher and an EYFS Teacher where I am committed to providing the very best start to every child's educational journey. Our Early Years provision is carefully designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and resilience through high-quality teaching and engaging learning opportunities. We are proud to provide an inclusive environment at Torre where every child feels valued and supported. I enjoy working with families, our PTA and our local community including the church striving to ensure that all children feel safe, happy, and motivated to achieve their full potential throughout their primary school journey.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I have two beautiful children of my own, Sophie and Henry, who keep me very busy! Living on the outskirts of Exeter, there are lots of opportunities for walks and park running - which I really enjoy.
