Thursday 9th November - Tag Rugby Champions!

Today, eight children from year 5 and 6 took part in the Saints South West Tag Rugby tournament. James led our team as captain, with 6 out of seven of the children having never have played rugby before! We won 6 tries to 3; 5-2 and 5-0 in the group stages. In the semi finals, we crawled over the line, winning 2 tries to 1. In the final, we had Canada Hill in the final and beat them 3-2, meaning we were Champions! A great experience and some great skills on show. Congratulations to James, Oliver, Alfie, Oscar, Brayden, Calum, Poppi and Megan.

Thursday 3rd November - Open Days

We have two further open days. The dates and times for these are 22nd November and 7th December, both starting at 10:15am.

We have two open days coming up shortly. The dates and times for these are 14th October at 10am & 7th November at 10am.

2nd March 2022 - Netball Tournament

6 children from Years 5&6 went to Paignton Sports Hub to compete against other schools in Torbay in a netball tournament. They won 3 out of their 5 matches and came 3rd overall in the competition. Well done!!

Torbay Council are delighted to be able to offer free bus travel to families that are entitled to benefits related free school meals for the summer holiday period.

If you would like the chance to travel on Stagecoach buses to explore Torbay, we are offering eligible families, five family day passes. Each pass will enable up to two adults and three children the ability to travel for free. (If you have a larger family we will provide additional tickets)

Octopus Class - RSPB Wild Challenge


Octopus Class have been busy during breaktimes/lunchtimes taking part in the RSPB Wild challenge! After achieving their Bronze Award during the Spring term they have now achieved the Silver Award! Amazing!! They will be working towards their gold award this half term.

Mini Police

A group of children in Year 5/6 wrote job applications to become an officer in the Mini Police. The successful applicants have worked with a Police Youth Engagement Officer to learn about the work of the Police. They completed a piece of social action which involved working with parents to persuade them to park more safely when coming to pick-up and drop-off their children.

World Book Day 2021

Our topic for World Book Day 2021 this year was around the 'Black Lives Matter' movement, focusing on diversity, differences and equality. As usual, children joined in the spirit of the day with various outfits from home and in school. Here are some of the pictures of us enjoying the day.
